The primary purpose of the Trust is to pay or apply the free annual income of the Trust Fund at the discretion of the Trustees to or for the benefit of widows, widowers, children or former dependents of deceased members of Faculty who by reason of poverty, indigence, illness, disability or age are in need of relief or support. If in any year income is left over after the primary purpose has been served the Trustees have a discretion to pay over the balance for the benefit of any living members of Faculty who by reason of disability, illness or age are permanently incapacitated from practice and by reason of their condition are in need of relief or support, also for any spouse, child or other dependent of such living members who are in need of relief or support.
