According to the trustees’ report in the accounts, St Leonards School is set up to: provide education for children and young people, advance education as a charitable purpose, operate as an independent school offering boarding and day education, and promote academic, personal, cultural, physical, and spiritual development. The school delivers this through: teaching and learning programmes, boarding provision, co-curricular and sporting activities, pastoral care and wellbeing support, music, drama and outdoor education, and by providing bursaries and scholarships to widen access. The report also states that the school follows the International Baccalaureate curriculum and seeks to provide a broad, balanced education in line with its charitable objectives.
