Our aim is to make the Bible available to people of every language, class and creed in a language they can understand, in a format they can use and at a price they can afford, and to encourage engagement with the Bible for the social and spiritual benefit of all people both in Scotland and elsewhere, but with only such note or comment as is necessary to assist engagement with the Bible and to enable effective partnership with the Christian churches.
