Brunswick Community Development Trust (BCDT) exists to support and strengthen communities in North Glasgow, particularly in areas experiencing poverty, inequality and limited opportunities. Our aim is to improve life chances by providing accessible, inclusive services that support children, young people and families. We deliver youth work, community programmes and skills development opportunities that help individuals build confidence, improve wellbeing and progress into education, training or employment. Our activities include after school clubs, holiday programmes, sports provision, mentoring and accredited training pathways. Sport is a key engagement tool, helping reduce anti social behaviour while promoting health and teamwork. Through our Skills Academy, we support young people to move from participation into volunteering, qualifications and employment. Alongside this, we run programmes for families,, tackling isolation and strengthening community connections.
