To advance the education and social development of pre-school children with the emphasis on the play experience. To encourage parent/carer involvement and promote the value of engagement with the wider community. Summary of the main activities in relation to these objects. The aim of Torphins Playgroup Pre-School is to provide safe, structured play in a stimulating and friendly environment for the children to build on their social skills and cognitive development. Activities can include baking, music, art, craft, storytelling, nature walks, sand and water play, gardening and outdoor play.
