About

Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity is a fundraising organisation which generates fundraising income, primarily voluntary donations from various sources including individuals, companies, community groups and trusts. We fund structured play programmes and distraction therapies, patient and family support services, facility enhancements and other projects at the Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow and at other paediatric hospitals and community-based services in the West of Scotland. We also support the specialty of obstetrics and gynaecology at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Glasgow and its associated hospitals and community clinics. We seek to alleviate poverty for families whose financial hardship is exacerbated by caring for a child or young person with a health issue, and we support the wellbeing of NHS Staff to further enhance the NHS’s ability to transform the health and wellbeing of the children, young people and women in their care.
