The saving of lives for the public benefit - predominantly within Glenelg, Arnisdale, and Glenshiel but also in areas beyond there, in order to provide support on request, by: • Providing a 'free to use' Search and Mountain Rescue Service. • Aiming to provide on call services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. • Locating and evacuating injured and / or lost persons in upland environments and to provide appropriate casualty care.
