The objects for which the Trust is established are to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation for the benefit of the public and in particular to secure the establishment, maintenance and management of the Galloway House Gardens at Garlieston, Wigtownshire for recreational and other purposes for the benefit and enjoyment of the public. The Trustees manage and maintain the facilities through phased restoration and improvements to the infrastructure and grounds within our ownership, care and control to ensure that the historic integrity and interest and access to the property is retained - a formal management plan is in place and the various projects itemised within this plan are implemented accordingly. We utilise all the income from our holiday lets, investment portfolio, car parking charges and produce sales in order to achieve these aims, in so far as our available funds allow.
