John Buchan Society

About

The Society was formed to perpetuate the memory of John Buchan by bringing his achievements to the notice of the general public, and by seeking to promote a greater understanding of his life and the vast range of his works. The main activities undertaken in relation to the above objects are the publication of one learned journal yearly, regular newsletters, an annual meeting and dinner with an expert speaker on some aspect of John Buchan, his life and work, a biennial conference/symposium, a very active website for the promotion and marketing of his works, the production and distribution of publicly available podcasts, and the general promotion of a greater understanding and appreciation of John Buchan and his literary works, and his life.
