About

Children’s Health Scotland exists to ensure every child and young person in Scotland has the right to the best possible health. We do this by informing, promoting, and campaigning on their healthcare needs and rights, especially those with health conditions or care experience. Our services include Self-Management Skills Programmes, health-related play, tailored support for carers, and rights-based education. We are proudly child-led through our Health Rights Defenders—young volunteers who shape our resources, events, and advocacy. We work in partnership with families, professionals, and national bodies to influence policy and deliver inclusive, trauma-informed services that empower children to understand and act on their health rights.
