BACS operates as an active network of archivists, academics and businesses to connect all those with an interest in Scottish business archives & history. We promote the maintenance and use of archives as corporate assets. promote records and information management within business. hold conferences, events, and training days. publish a journal. offer consultancy services to businesses on archives and records management through the Surveying Officer. and liaise with other heritage bodies to ensure that business archives are recognised as a cultural asset.
