Orkney Arts Society

About

It is set up to advance the arts in Orkney through holding a varied programme of events primarily over the winter months, which typically comprise classical concerts featuring professional musicians, workshops for young musicians, concerts in the community e.g. in care homes, the Dementia Hub and family concerts together with talks covering literature and the visual arts and an annual foy. Events are held in Mainland Orkney in Stromness and Kirkwall and supported by a wide membership.
