Our charity is a Gaelic Baby and Toddler Group which is aimed at children aged 0-5 and their parents/carers, providing them with the opportunity to meet and play in a relaxed, fun and supportive environment that encourages the use of Gaelic. We offer fun activities for toddlers in the Gaelic language and our sessions include singing, storytelling, and games, in Gaelic. We are located at a community centre, so our group is accessible and welcoming. We provide support and resources to families to encourage and support them through their Gaelic medium journey via a private group chat and a public facebook page, as well as in person at our sessions. We arrange events with the Gaelic nursery to support transitions and further immerse the children in the Gaelic language, as well as inviting Gaelic students from the High school to join us to interact with the children, also providing the students with the opportunity to be a part of a community group and practise their Gaelic.
