Friends of Portree Hospital through liaising with hospital staff and getting feedback from patients and relatives provides equipment and items for their comfort and rehabilitation. We inform and educate the public through interaction at local events, generating interest and support for the hospital and discussion on health care needs for North Skye/Raasay area emanating from Portree Hospital. While continuing to provide equipment both for the benefit of patients and also assisting with training needs identified by staff which are not met trough normal NHS channels
