About

We maintain public access to the Shotley Peninsula shoreline in the village of Shotley Gate. We also repair, maintain and approve cliff and sea defences for which no statutory body has taken responsibility. This has included building a long wall of gabions to protect the path from the sea, and resurfacing the path with natural materials.
