To reduce the social exclusion of people (particularly, but not exclusively, older men). To lessen their isolation and provide social opportunities, helping them to build friendships, through the provision of facilities in which they can meet to undertake a range of creative, physical or recreational activities, learn or pass on skills and knowledge.
