The charity was established in 2006. It aims to work for the relief of poverty, sickness and distress in the community who need it by reason of youth, age, infirmity, financial hardship or social circumstances. The charity also works to relieve unemployment through the provision of training or re-training and promote research into social, political, economic and social care issues.
