IAKA's mission is to promote the humane treatment of animals in South Korea by raising international awareness of Korea's dog and cat meat trade, educating the public about animal protection and care, advocating for stronger animal rights laws, supporting and publicizing animal welfare agencies, facilitating animal rescue and adoption, and offering needed veterinarian services.
