To provide an educational and outreach programme of events year round, with a focus on literature, poetry and the spoken word. We provide opportunties for the young, the old and the disadvantaged of all ages to read for pleasure, to engage in creative writing and to have access to high quality book events. We encourage people to enjoy reading and so to read more, with all the attendant benefits.
