Realising that the mind of a child needs to be stimulated as well as its body fed, DOH projects have been designed (especially in poverty stricken parts of Bulgaria) for education & literacy programmes. A safe learning environment for deprived children has been created, together with a moral framework for their future. Elsewhere (Ukraine) DOH provides support, via its agencies, for child incarcera
