Chamber Music 2000 was set up as an independent charity by the Schubert Ensemble to increase knowledge, understanding and appreciation of contemporary chamber music. Over 45 works have been commissioned from composers which are accessible; encouraging the study, performance and appreciation of chamber music by children and young people as early in their musical life as possible.
