The Society exists to undertake, promote, support and encourage research, and the education of the public, in the causes of heart valve disease, the prevention of, and the treatment of heart valve disease or any related cardiac disease, illness or condition.The Society holds a biennial meeting where all aspects of valve biology, pathology, treatment and surgery are considered.
