The trust is established to promote and support the Christian religion in the ecclesiastic parish of Westerfield, Suffolk. Funds are held to pay, apply or appropriate the income from time to time as may be needed for this purpose. In practice such needs have occasionally arisen for maintenance work on the fabric of the church building, or for other purposes relative to the practices of the church
