Providing a centre for social engagement and activities and organising courses of instruction, lectures, and other educational activities. Avening Women's Institute does this by organising speakers and demonstrations, craft sessions, and other training on topics of interest to its members. It also takes part in village activities as an organisation, which also promotes community integration.
