The objects of the charity are to promote the study and general knowledge of the arts of painting and drawing with the object of advancing the education of the public in furtherance of the said objects but not otherwise the trustees shall have the following power:- To provide exhibitions of paintings and other works of art including the collection for the benefit of the public.
