The Aughton and Ormskirk Gardening Society seeks to inform and instruct anyone who is interested in gardening, and to promote good gardening practices. Invited speakers give talks on various topics, from organic vegetables to fruit trees, from crocosmias to saracenia, from garden design to plants for essential oils. Spring plant sales are held in May.
