The provision and maintenance of two village halls for the use of the inhabitants of the Parish of Broomhaugh and Riding Mill and visitors to the village (without distinction of political, religious or other opinions) for meetings, lectures and classes and for other forms of recreation and leisure-time occupation, with the object of improving their quality of life.
