The Trust was set up to pay as directed by the Managing Trustees sums in connection with the furtherance and advancement of the University of West Indies, Scholarships at the said university or universities or dental schools in the United Kingdom, the United States of America or elsewhere and grants towards the pursuit of any course of study at the University of the West Indies.
